Older children and toddlers may be thrilled with having a baby to play with and playtime can be a very special time when they get to know each other and lay the foundations for a strong sibling relationship as they grow.

But their games and toys may not always be suitable for younger babies so make sure you supervise playtime to make sure it doesn’t end in tears and try to help the older children choose games that everyone can enjoy. With all of you playing together, no one will feel rejected and your older children will still feel they are just as special as ever.
